Mission PinkCruise is an initiative of mass medical mission (mmm) aimed at taking wholistic cancer prevention and health promotion to the grassroots using Mobile Cancer Centres (MCC) aka The PinkCruise.
The PinkCruise is designed to take integrated health prevention to the grassroots; with state-of-the-art facilities for screening and on-the-spot follow-up/treatment (including mammography, endoscopy, colonoscopy, colposcopy, cryotherapy, laboratory, vaccination and surgeries for pre-cancer and early cancer).
COMPONENTS OF THE FREE COMMUNITY-BASED HEALTH MISSION INCLUDE:
A. Mission PinkCruise: Free community-based preventive cancer care using the Mobile Cancer Centre (MCC) aka the PinkCruise
B. Mission
PinkVISSION: The eye aspect aspect of the free community outreach using Mobile Ophthalmic unit aka the
PinkVISSION. For more details on the

C. Mission
PinkDentist: The dental aspect of the free community outreach using Mobile Dental unit aka the
PinkDentist. For more details on the

The FREE Outreach is targeted primarily at the poor/underprivileged masses.
Groups and Communities can invite the PinkCruise to carry out these interventions at their doorsteps for FREE, by sending an email to info@pinkcruise.org so they could be included in the year round schedule of free outreaches.
OTHER LIFESAVING INITIATIVES OF NCPP AT THE BASE CENTRE
These include but not limited to:
– Wellness Wednesday: Free screening at the Lagos centre every Wednesday
– Family Friday: Free screening at the Lagos centre every Wednesday
– Premarital Health Promotion Programme: Free screening for intending couples every Wednesday
FOLLOW-UP
Those who need more detailed medical consultation or further follow-up and treatment are required to go to the mass medical mission House (31 Bode Thomas St, Surulere, Lagos) or any other well-equipped health institution of their choice.
